Have you ever considered washing your car while it is raining?
I remember back in 2018 when I paid £5 for a handwash of my car, they did a brilliant job.
Now it is anywhere from £10 to £15, which is understandable, water prices increased, labour and so on.
But have you ever considered washing your car while it is raining?
Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting you do it when it is absolutely pouring, freezing cold and wind speeds that would blow away your wheely bin 😃
This idea came from my boyfriend. He's been doing it for years. No surprise, I was sceptic about it at first.
All you need is bucket with warm soapy water, some sponges, raincoat and mother nature will do the rest.
You still will have to wash the car yourself, but rain will rinse away the soap for you.
The best thing is when the car dries there are no water marks on the bodywork.
We have used special car shampoos, but to be honest a simple environmentally friendly dish washing liquid will do the trick.
So next time it is raining, you are home with kids or without, put your wellies and raincoats on and have some fun, plus save some pennies 😊
Good idea would be to place an old cloth or towel by the door, so not to make a mess when you come back in 😃
